What time do the Sail4th festivities begin each day?
VIP/scheduled/educational/media touring is from 9am - 11:30am daily. General touring is from 12pm - 4pm most days. Some ships may be open later.
Are pets allowed at the event?
Pets are allowed in some event areas on land, but they are not allowed on ships.
Is the event family-friendly?
Yes! Bring the family, but no strollers are allowed on the ships.
Is there a minimum age to attend the events?
Children are welcome, but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Is there a dress code for the events?
Closed-toe shoes are required to board the ships.
Can I sign up to volunteer at the events?

Can I make a donation to support the events?
Yes! We are a non-profit organization, and we appreciate any donations. Click here to donate.
Are restrooms available at the event sites?
Yes.

Do I need a ticket to attend Sail4th?
Are tickets refundable or transferable?
No, tickets are not refundable or transferable.
Do children need a ticket?
Yes, children aged 2 years or older require a ticket.
Is there public transportation to the events?
Yes, New York City has some of the best public transportation in the world. Use your favorite GPS app or explore your options on the MTA website.
Where is the best place to park?
Cars are strongly discouraged as parking is limited and traffic will be difficult to navigate.

Will there be food available for purchase?
Yes, most event sites will offer food for purchase.
Can I bring my own food?
Outside food and drink will not be allowed inside the event venues.
Will there be beverages available for purchase? Including alcohol?
Yes, beverages will be widely available. Alcoholic drinks will be available in select venues.
Can I bring alcohol to the events?
No, outside alcohol will not be permitted.
Is the event rain or shine?
Yes.
Is smoking/vaping allowed at the event?
No, smoking and vaping are both prohibited at all of the event venues.
Are drones permitted?
Drones are NOT permitted.
Can I re-enter the event after leaving?
No, there is no re-entry to events.
